that my freind is almost considered a right off.. I hope you are insured??

They would need to get a rear cut to replace the back end....something you don't want to do.

How or who did that to your car?

That is the result of wet roads, under steer, over steer and over correcting twice, and then a 180 into a power pole. A cat or something ran out in front of me.

3rd party insurance only. So no

What are your suggestions to do with it now? Repair would be a LOT of work, structural damage is pretty bad. Probably not worth it. Front end is alright. Sell it as a halfcut? although its the 4g15 without efi, so hmmm. A wreckers wont give me much for it right? Or sell the parts? I've had offers for the wheels and springs and some other stuff already, lol.

Any other suggestions, anyone?

Exactally... for $5k... that was the original price of the car. I dont want to spend another 5k to make it some weirdo cyborg machine.

I'm currently in the process of getting quotes to sell it to a wreckers. Seems like the best option at the moment. Unless you can think of others?

Soooo what kind of car should I get for a price of about $5000? (loan from parents). I saw a nice Mazda MX6 2.2T with assloads of custom stuff... (bov, intake, exhaust, stereo, etc etc) for $5800. Looks alright to me. Any ideas?

odium didnt your your rear have a brace bar?? cause my friend told me that sometimes repaires dont put em on to cut corners, cause he looked at your pics and said that the car was repaird but not done properly
basically down behind the bumper a fat piece of steel should go accross the back, i know mine does cause thats what saved me when this ford XD tank slammed me from behind at 50km/h

Hmmmm, I dont know anything about a rear brace bar....

Its not just a GLXi thing? because this is just a GL
Also the previous owners had the bumpers sprayed the same blue color insytead of leaving them the stock gray, maybe it was removed for some reason? which is kinda stupid if thats the case.

Yeah, my mates got an integra LS... its a nice drive. got custom exhaust and intakes, goes pretty well. Although I used to beat it off the line because of the weight... by the time we were in 3rd though, he would fly past me.
