I emailed them and suprisingly they called me today! but they want me to make a booking and take it in for an inspection, though i want to know if this is an official mitsubishi survey/campaign and are they doing anything about it. I asked about it and the person on the phone didnt know anything about it?!

it will be a offical check over as they do know that the falt does exsist. this may lead to a recall inspection an then a repair as nessary.and the inspection is for real as the only person to access there email is the staff at MMA.

yeh but is there an official document on the net or anywhere else verifying that cc lancer owners should contact mitsubishi if they have rust problems? when mitsubishi called me i asked them what was goin on and they knew nothing about it. I think the person on the phone might have thought i was after a warranty claim.

ok what is happening is that there was a few fellas that had complained on another fourm about rusted roofs. i remembered that when i worked for mitsu that they wont act on one complaint. but according to the blokes on this site www.evocoupe.net there was a recall a few years ago for this problem if you want to read the rest of the info of what was said then go there and its under tech ok apparently it was posted in a paper 2-3 years ago
