Ok $15000 for something which will perform well, is going to be tough, as you don't like the CC model Lancer (therefore the GSR is out). Ok well this leaves you with a few options. You are going to have to buy a CE Lancer and modify it. So your options are, turbo conversion, supercharge, MIVEC engine, GSR engine(hard to get). But to do this with $15000 is going to be tough. I do have a suggestion for you, buy a cheap lancer with a million klms and pull the engine, drop in a MIVEC. Another option is to go to auctions where insurance companies are selling off dammaged vehicles, and pull it apart and do it up from the ground up, pull the engine out etc. This will take a little know how and some good contacts in the area, but it may get you what you want.

Funny how fast they change! HA HA HA. Yeah look I feel it is realy your best option, the CC Lancer GSR is a very good car. I don't think however that you will pick one up for as low as $8000, I would be looking aroung $14000 mark, that way you will get a much better car which will last a lot longer and end up costing you less in the long run.

Probably the exhaust, as it gives you the best bang for your buck, so to speak. But the options are endless.

You should save up for a good one and use that time to get used to the speed and handling of the car first. Then once you start to feel the stock car is "slow", here come the mods!
