Gsr Question!
ive looked all over the net at australian sites looking at stuff about the australian and a lil bit of the japanese GSR.
everywhere ive looked i have only seen specs for the 92-95 gsr its like the 96 gsr doesnt exist! but i looked at this site n it says it does maybe its a *** up.. but i dunno if there isnt a 96 gsr im gonna cry ..

OK, there are 96+ GSR. They're not that common in Aussie. However, if you take a look at the kiwi land, there are numerious 96+ GSR available.
The 96+ GSR is powered by the 4G93 Turbo, output ~ 205-210 hp (which should be 10 hp more than the 92-95 model). This car is AWD (of course). The engine, was "turned" 180 degree to the "opposite" side of the engine bay as compared to the 92-95 GSRs...
It seems like there are not a lot of sources for info on the web regarding this car. Good luck finding it

oh yeh there arent i can only find 92-95. since the engine bay is different do 4g63's still fit reasonably well into it??
u say 96+ does that mean?? 97, 98 ,99 etc..
and can u buy them in australia, but they r rare?

Yes the GSR stopped production in early 96. The model you are thinking about is different. The GSR which came into this country was only the CC model (EVO I, II & III shape). The CE model (EVO IV shape) was introduced mid 96. I hope this clars it all up for you. The CE (EVO IV shape) will be a lot more than you are talking about.
