OK, there are 96+ GSR. They're not that common in Aussie. However, if you take a look at the kiwi land, there are numerious 96+ GSR available.

The 96+ GSR is powered by the 4G93 Turbo, output ~ 205-210 hp (which should be 10 hp more than the 92-95 model). This car is AWD (of course). The engine, was "turned" 180 degree to the "opposite" side of the engine bay as compared to the 92-95 GSRs...

It seems like there are not a lot of sources for info on the web regarding this car. Good luck finding it

96+ are not available here. Unless you import one yourself. And yes the 4G63 will fit into the CC GSR

After all the taxes, and the red tape, it is not worth bringing the GSR here. If you want to go to all that trouble bring a Evolution in.

Yes the GSR stopped production in early 96. The model you are thinking about is different. The GSR which came into this country was only the CC model (EVO I, II & III shape). The CE model (EVO IV shape) was introduced mid 96. I hope this clars it all up for you. The CE (EVO IV shape) will be a lot more than you are talking about.

If you actually use your redbook link which you posted, and click on car photos on the left you will see a picture of what the car looks like.
