Question Tyres

I just got some 16 inch ROH Adreneline mags in shadow chrome a few weeks ago and now it has come to the time where I need to put some of that black rubbery stuff around the outside of them.
I need to know what size tyres to get so that it doesn't affect my speedo to much, and also what to look for when getting tyres? ie what brands to avoid etc.

Cheers
Matt

I'll chime in with info for sizeing (sp?)

check that out. they have a great rolling radius calculator and even explain what the rolling radius is incase you don't know
As far as tyres go, most of the scooby owners I know swear by the Falken Azenis. The kumho 712's are not bad, from what I've heard, but are a bit noisy. I'm gonna order some yoko parada spec II's pretty soon to go on my new wheels unless I hear something horrible in the mean time. Not sure what brands you have available to you down under but thats my 2c.

One of the best simple explainations of wheels and tires (or tyre if you prefer. ) I've ever read or used.

EDIT: DAMN YOU! YOU BEAT ME TO ONE OF MY FAVORITE LINKS!!

I got 205/40 Falken Azenis with my 16s and they seem a good tyre. They make the speedo about right (reads less then 5km/h out @100km/h) Jus make sure u get ones that meet ur tyre placard (I found out after I bought them that they aren't load rated)

Thanks for the info on sizeing but what do you people think would be a reasonable budget for the 4 tyres?
