Thumbs down Perth Auto Solan Sucked ***.

Anyone go to the Auto salon ? we went on saturday hoping there would be a ****load of nice evo's and gsr's... we walked in, searched 20 minutes, found 3 1.5 litre n/a 2 doors with evo kits, then we walked outside, found 1 evo in a lineup for the dyno, and that was it !
they shoulda called the the Nissan and Honda Salon, woulda made more sense... we finally spotted later on, 1 1.8 4 door lancer with an evo kit.. but still, whats up with perth ?

hopefully motorvation next year will be a lot better..

Oh yeah, did anyone find the RPW stand ? and where were the representitives from Speedworks and their white 740bhp s15 silvia?
all they had was 4 cars and a huge speedworks banner.

Those events don't really interest me. I'd rather go to a track day at wanneroo or a motorkhana event, or go for a cruise with my buddies.

RPW didn't do a stand as we are gearing up for a very large one at the motorvation show with some of our turbo lancers, mirages and TWIN TURBO MAGNA.

As well I have been too busy to accomodate that show and have been there in the past and been very disapointed with the turnout.

The most 'sik' Evo I know of in Perth is Aaron Caratti's Gunmetal Evo IV, prepared by Speedworks. You may have seen it around.

There's some info about it here: http://www.speedworksauto.com.au (look under cars/mitsubishi/)

It ran 11.6@196km/h and i heard it has 200+kW at the wheels!!

Where do I order mine?
An Evo V front bar and spoiler would fit quite nicely on that!

...Yeah, if you wanted to ruin it!

Actually, I think the Evo 5 and Evo 4 are the best looking of the Evos. Just my 2 cents.

I'll be at Motorvation 2003 with my Evo 2 in the AFARCC display..... but I'm mainly there for the driving events. Getting a new clutch and exhaust just for the occasion :-P
