The BMW events are really fun and very noob friendly. They tend to be more open fast courses that are very Evo friendly. The BMW guys are a great group of guys and provide lots of cold drinks.
Lets get some new NTEC guys out there this time. It's going to be a lot of fun. $40 and I promise you will have a awesome time. If your scared about getting lost on the course or not knowing what your doing, don't worry about it. They have free friendly instructors onsite that will show you the ropes, and everyone is more than welcome to ride along with me to ge a feel for what's going on.
Wear shorts, a light colored shirt, a hat and don't forget your sun screen and helmet. There are loaner helmets onsite if you don't own one. You can either bring a lunch (I do cuz I'm a broke ***) or there is a Subway and a Sonny Bryant BBQ down the street if you want to get some grub and get in the AC for a little bit.

Go straight to Evolution dynamics, drop it off and tell Kevin you want the 6-puck for autocross. He'll know what to do. Probably have you ready by middle of next week too if not sooner (assuming he's not too busy).
But I know you know this -- you're a regular there too just like me.
I'll be dropping mine off there again very soon. This time for a new clutch AND transfer case rebuild by Shep. See you soon, Kevin.

Thank you for the generous offer. I will let you know if I decide to go. Still on the fence on whether I want to chase cones in 100+ degree weather right now or stay at home in the air conditioner and play Gran Turismo 5 instead.

Yes - very very hot.
Here is the Y class line-up so far. It's possible there may be a few last minue adds.
The only "real" competition is the S2000s and MX-5s. I'm predicting we'll fall in to the 3rd through 6th place range out of 16 cars so that's good.
There's a few individuals I'm pretty sure will come out ahead of us. Greg Laver is one of them. I don't see McShane but he's another.
