We had a lot of fun In the morning we did really good, there were sand spots on the course that the RWD cars just could not get out of, and of course we could. So at lunch I was 1st and Garret was 2nd in class 2 due to the RWD guys not having any traction out there.
Afternoon runs everything changed. All the sand had been cleared from the cars running, the lot had warmed up and the RWD cars were way faster. MR2, a couple of Porches, and a couple of 350Zs took the top 5 spots. I ended up in last trophy spot in 6th and Garret in 11th. We just couldn't seem to find the time out there.
It was it was a very tricky course and we only had 40miles on the new 285 RS-3s before the first run so that had a little to do with it. We really should have gotten at least 500 miles on them before, but oh well. Still had a hell of time. Still learning every event.
