You can use any type of intake you want. Even if it's just a basic K&N Style cone filter such as what AMS sells...just make sure you get that thing tuned because just adding an intake throws off your A/F Ratios and actually hurts performance a little.
Derek is correct.

The piping is 2.5" and we only offer the standard K&N filter with adapter plate as we have found most aftermarket intakes on the EVO cause more harm then good.

What is the possibility of getting the UICP with the HKS SSQV mounted? I'm also converting to MAP so I'm not worried about VTA.

As long as it is tuned for that intake...should be no problem at all

Tial BOV's are AWESOME...some of the best around...you can even ask David Buscher...he likes the 1g BOV...he recomends the Tial as well. A LOT of high end cars use Tial as well as GReddy and HKS...honestly in my opinion...Tial is probably one of the best...but I have to give it to HKS on the design of the SSQV and the way it works. GReddy...eehhhh never used it...but it seems to preform quite well.

Hmm...I didn't realize they were so popular. Are you willing to start a group buy? Say.....$400?

i'm wondering if the Tial can be swapped out myself. I have a SSQV on the car already and dropping for the pipe and DV is a little steap for me right now. Would make it much easier, for me that is, to buy the pipe without it.

sorry guys looooong weekend 35 cars on saturdays dyno day. We really would not like to swap out for the SSQV. the Tial is a Superior BOV and all the clearance issues were worked with a TiAL BOV as the mockup. I am still working on that battery kit guys. Bear with me.

No prob....

Any thought as to a group buy? I don't intend to buy a mini-batt as I want to install a spiral cell in the trunk. Are you planning on offering a relocation kit or should I buy a generic?
