Can you tell me if the front LSD of the RS or MR fit the Evo VIII

Seems I have read on here where one person in the Motorsport forum has done this. I think he didn't have any issues. However, Eric or Martin can tell you for sure.

MR probably will not, different transmission (6 speed) I have heard that the 04 RS transfer case should since it shares the same transmission with the GSR (03 Evo).. Now here's the issue, I recall reading something about problems with ABS and the Front LSD, and that was the reason it was not included on the 03 model cars.

at least you'll get more info as this thread pans out.. Most of this info I had come across here on the forum over the past few months.

So you think iit will be beter to put an afer market LSD then instead of swaping out T-case.

I think as time passes more options will become available.. There's tons of "Broken" transfer cases out there, most of them can be had very cheap right now because their internal components are very difficult to source (much of it isn't adequately documented) Time will tell, but I'll bet in the next 6 months there'll be at least 2 or 3 options.

right now its too early for us to know. I havent done any clutches on an MR to examine the T-case. I would hold out a little longer
