Exactly. And since the Buschur system uses a fuel pump that won't tolerate a water mix (which means more $ to fill and more fire hazard under the hood) and the AMS system apparently will, it seems like the extra $$ for the AMS system could be worth it.

its not a test car we have allready tested this set up on our shop car a while back. on water/alcohol (windshield washer solvent) we made 505 Whp on pump gas. The kit works. Our pumps designed to take water, Alchohol or mehtenol. Obviously the more alcohol or methanol in the mix the bigger the result. I know on my car I will be using a modified version of this kit and running straight methenol.

What sort of modifications are necessary to run straight methanol?

Have a question for you. On race gas my car Dynoed what you see listed in my sig. Are you saying I could put those numbers down on stock turbo on pump with this kit(runs @27 psi dropping to 22 at redline). How often do you need to refill this resevoir with the mixture dor a daily driven car, in other words about how many miles between refills?

Thanks,

Shane

That is exactly what I am saying shane. The resevoir holds about 1 gallon. It really depends on how hard you are on the car. It would take a good solid weekend of beating the hell out of the car to go through the whole bottle. Its the greatest thing since sliced bread

What I mean by modifications is that It is designed to fit in an EVO VIII. I will have to mess around with some stuff to get it in my talon. The kit as its sits can run straight methanol.

I must have misunderstood? I thought you were looking for an EVO to do an install on for picture and instruction purposes?

yes we were. People kept using the word testing. the kit has been installed on a few cars here but we never documented the install process so we wanted to get a car in here that we could do it on. As I stated before we made over 500 whp on just windshield washer fluid, much more can be atained on stiffer Methanol/alcohol mixture.

I'll be getting back to you in the spring then about the injection kit. Do you think it would better idea to add a little H20 in that meth/alcohol mix? Also, do you keep 264's in stock? And do you guys take lunch everyday between 1-2pm?

the 505whp number was done on windshield washer fluid. So yes mixing water with methanol is fine.

As long as you don't tinker with boost, water injection is allowed in ESP; 15.10.F reads:
F. Intake water injection systems are allowed.

Well, that's interesting. I doubt it is STU legal though. That could make for a fun ESP mod though.
