Eric,

Have you guy's hooked up a mechanical pressure gauge to the system? What is the pressure in the line from the pump to the nozzle from initial turn on at say 14psi to 30psi in a 4th gear pull? I am trying to figure out if the system ramps up pressure based on boost like fuel pressure does since it is progressive, or if it is static pressure +/- a few pounds?

Thanks,
Chad

I'm going to say that any system that can activate a relay to open a circuit upon a fault, such as low water, no water, clogged jet, etc., would be the "friendliest". Such an output would allow you to switch maps & kill boost upon detection of a fault or power failure. More accurately, your high boost level and/or aggressive map would only be active if the system was active.

I'm not sure what failsafes the Buschur or AMS systems have. The Aquamist DDS2 could be added to either system to provide boost cut/map switching capabilities. It will constantly monitor water flow to ensure it is within a specific range. A couple hundred bucks isn't bad insurance compared to your motor puking it's guts up on the road or some track because you ran out of juice.

I got the AMS kit on Friday and as of now it's half installed... if I can get ahold of a camera, you'll get some pictures.
