Fast car... OR NOT???
Do it the Street King way only- Have to beat his #2 or #3 before he can even dare to challenge. Then the race is organized and high profile with the Street Scene MC the only one to call the go and determine the outcome. Keeps the POS scammers and scum away. These things are organized like a fine clock out here and reputations are made and lost instantly. It really is quite amazing.

Take it to the track.

D,
Didn't say Vishnu participated, just recommended, as evidenced in your reply.
Clearly you think this is a reasonable, safe activity. That's why you recommend it.
Now, here in Ohio we don't have these events as you describe, we just have much too much carnage, mainly young people snuffed out too early. And that's what is the norm across the country.
But even comparing your "semi-legal" events to track events--do they check equipment, safety systems, experience? I doubt it.
Just my one cent.

I dont street race but if you were here you would know Oakland has some of the most organized, safest, semi-legal events you can fathom. Thousands of runs a night never heard of an incident. The Police break it off when the crowd is large and not once have I seen any drinking, close calls, fights, or arguements. Im serious the organization and professionalism run throughout the crowd and rivals any track I have been to.

well we went out there to gary and schick friday night and it was pretty cool I guess but on saterday night it was kind of a joke. All highschool kids screaming and really nothing to do with cars but most of the time its pretty cool...

I know what the street racing scene is about, even though I don't personally participate in it. First off, if someone's cocky enough to approach an Evo which is obviously modded, you know he's either serious, or seriously stupid. In my experience, the seriously modded cars in the area typically play it cool and may get your attention, but otherwise lay low and wait to be approached. Besides, I personally work very hard for my money and am not about to wager any of it on a street race with no rules, other than respect which a lot of kids don't have. That sucks, and I'm sorry, man. He's a coward to the end.

I love your car..
