New AWD Dyno at AMS?

Hey guys, I've heard rumors that AMS is getting rid of their 2WD dyno and getting an AWD dyno. Could anyone from AMS chime in and let us know if this is going to happen and potentially when it would happen? Thanks in advance!

Why a Dyno Jet and not one of the other kind (Mustang, DynoDynamics). Is it a question of cost?

Dynojets have been proven to be a little more accurate from dyno to dyno. Mustang Dynos offer lots of calibrations that can really alter the numbers. Dynojets dont Really allow you to alter much so you get a more consistent result

Sorry for the noob question, why would some one even suggest lower reading dynos such as a DD or Mustang? Are they more accurate, is that why? Are they easier to use?

Mustang dynos are just another option, as they are in the same price range and a dyno jet. The DD dynos offer many features that other dynos do not. For instance, 911s tend to heat up fast on dynojets, but they run just fine on a dyno dynamics. Further more, a DD dyno graphs in real time, vs. a dynojet that you must wait for the run to finish to see what the car has done. At the end of the day, the job will get done...its all just a matter of how to get there.

You guys should look for a place in the industrial park area. Kind of like by Aspec, Speed Inc, etc.

The AWD dyno sounds like a good time and will really help out everyone that doesn't want to switch over to FWD.
