What are the chances of making several flash options, for some of us, who don't daily our evos, we might want something more suited to the 'TRACK'. I have tires to cord, Vettes to abuse, and gas to burn......and I need more...of everything.
Please investigate to see if you guys can use different maps by just swapping out the EEPROM IC that is inside the ECU (I believe this is where the fuel maps are store). I don't know whether the flash program writes to the entire EEPROM location or to only a specified memory location.
If someone have two ECU they can experiement by removing the EEPROM IC, dump the data from EEPROM IC (.s19 file) then program a blank EEPROM IC with the data and try the new EEPROM back on the ECU to see if it works. This way you can have multiple EEPROM IC with different maps and all you need to do is switch EEPROM IC to switch maps.
This is similar to the hondata setup but the hondata setup just does it on the fly.
