i plan on tracking the car and don't plan on selling it either. Plan on converting it to a race car in 2 years after i have paid it off and can afford a new daily driver.
I used to have Xede before and was really happy with it until it got stolen a few months back. Now i'm in the market again and deciding if I should go full stand alone or go with Xede

i would get the aem man. if i would do my car all over again my first mod would be a aem. ive seen 8 evo down in florida do well over 45 hp with a aem just bone stock. i think its worth it. heres the thing about the aem getting it tuned by someone gets way to costly so it best to take that class they offer for the aem my budy went to one it done over the weekend they teach you everything you need to know about it for regular people like you and me we might need more than a weekend or 2 to learn everything.
but its up to u what ever u want to get man i say get it but other people are going to tell u diff. so use your best jugement.

From what you describe go with AEM. Get it tune, then mess around with it to familarize yourself in using it. I'm going on a 3rd dynoflash and with that money I could have gotten an AEM already.
As far as where to get the AEM for a good price look in the for sale section

Martin is the head tuner here so 90% of the time he is hopping in and out of 4-5 cars to get them tuned in. Almost every car that comes in here for tuning has some sort of mechanical problem attached to it so he has to shuffle cars between himself and the techs to get them out of here. On top of that martin will recieve about 100 phone calls a day from customers, Vendors, Magazines etc regarding the buisness. On top of that martin has to think of new products to release and how we are going to develop them. lastly Martin is always trying to think of new ways we can keep our INSANELY high overhead down. toss in about 5 -10 more random problems in a day and you have a typical work day for Martin. Martin is a busy man, So if you have ever wondered why he is sweating when you come in or if his words seem to run together into one syllable its because he is just a weee bit flustered. We wouldnt want anyone else here though behind the reins
