The dyno is up and operational as of yesterday. It's an incredible tool and I have a feeling I'll be living on that thing for a while. So far the highest hp #'s are Dan Bajalis's EVO with a 2.3L AMS stroker and AMS GT35R kit putting down 642whp and 584 ft-lbs at 34psi of boost. I then brought the boost level down and played with cam timing. Base #'s at 26psi of boost where 567-570whp. After changing cam timing around I gained 15-20whp at points while only giving up a few horsepower down low to bring the power up to 584whp at 26psi. I didn't run the car again at the higher boost levels with the adjusted cam timing but I'm sure it would be over 650whp at 34psi. Dan's car is amazing and it's gone incredibly fast (10.3 on all season radials) for being a full weight street car.
Did I mention I love our new AWD dyno!

 

I'm just amazed at the usable power of the AMS 2.3 with the 35R at low"ish" boost.

Care to share those cam gear settings? I believe I have (almost) the same setup as Dan. I was making 539whp/492tq on 27psi. I'm going to send you my winpep file. Maybe when you get time, you could overlay mine and Dan's 26/27 psi pulls for ***** and giggles.
