AMS Flash for GT35R

I was wondering if an AMS reflash can be used to tune a car with a GT35R kit on it? I dont know if I want to go full standalone like the AEM or not and have read a few threads about cars with a 35R tuned by a reflash that had decent results. I know with full standalone I would likely make more power but the cost is a bit steep for me right now so Im just checking out some other options.

It sure could. The Evo maf has been pushed well over 500 whp so I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work quite well.

Works Great! We have found that at 550 AWHP on our dyno that the Factory MAF likes to say "No More"

Any upgrades you would reccomend to the MAF? So somehow add a GM 3.0 MAF from a Z06 or something like that?

Do you have to crazy glue the stock MAF at that power level so it doesn't get sucked into the turbo?

No joke, this is a serious question.

I would immagine throttle resonse is superior on a GT35R. Then again you will NEVER need to run more then 550WHP on a GT35R on a stock block so I see no reason to run a stand alone unless you got serious loot. But an AMS GT35R on a flash will be FINE, especially on METH making 520-540WHP, something the 50Trim cannot do. I just rode in a GT35R METH IX, it was too nice, made me reconsider the GT35R for the steet. It made BIG power from 4300 RPMS on to 8200RPMS where the limiter was set, it fealt like it could have pulled to 10,000 if you let it.

GT35R FTW, it really is the Ultimate Street Turbo

The concensus is that is you want more than 500-550, you should have a standalone...

The stock MAF can handle 550+, but it isnt going to be reliable...
