Wow, that's great to hear. Sounds like it was a fun event. Awesome driving Jon and great representation for the Evo community. Would love to see pics of the trophies when you get them. So what's next for you guys?

Ok.. at 500whp.. it is a handfull.. (and a F&$^%ng blast!) What is really cool about this picture is the amount and length of heat waves from the exhaust..


Sometimes it gets a little out of hand... at this point I am thinking.. "I am going to hit that cone.."


And here I am thinking "Ouch.. i think i got both those cones" (I did) and "How much damage did I just do to the APR Wide Body bumper?" (a nice crack to both bumper and fender)


The aftermath... cones still flying, and me still sideways, trying not to knock down the timing lights..

We actually didn't get a chance to raffle off a ride.. #1 In the rush to get out of the shop yesterday morning, they forgot to bolt the passenger seat in...

Which.. would be no problem, just borrow one from another Evo on site..

But.. the event got off to a rough start, teething problems with the site, making sure everyone was where they should be, etc.. cars started running the autocross course at 11:30am, and the last car finished at 7:50pm. Most people were gone, and no real time to do a ride.

I do hope to do something similar in the future, because I still think it's a great idea.

We had a close one at HSCC Nite Series the other weekend. Edged him out by .1 after coning my fastest on brand new 710s. Glad to see you kept the Evo beat down going on Rankins :P

The AMS Time Attack Car is a registered and licensed street car.

I drove it from the hotel to the event that morning, and last month we drove it 4000 miles around on the street while finishing third in One Lap of America.

hey jon...i was the guy that was in the 3rd heat in the GG MR. U came up to the car with the gas pedal for that STI haha....that was hilarious. I also ran my best time on that pass 58.6...I didn't think I did too bad with my stock suspension.

If you guys don't know Jon or any of the AMS crew....they are all top notch cool people. I was proud to be in the same event with these guys. They all worked well together and put built a work of art. Nice job AMS....I was definately rooting you guys on (and was announcing times when you clicked off the fastest autox run Jon!).

Now if you would have only really pushed my car when you demo'd it on the skidpad....that would have been cool!!
