I bought one of your catback systems a while ago and I plan on getting a testpipe aswell. I have my own custom downpipe and I plan on fabricating it to fit your opening.

What I need to know is if the extra piece that comes with your catback system makes up for the length of the downpipe or the length of the testpipe. If it makes up for the length of the downpipe then I will have to get a testpipe from a different company.

 

I have the Version 1 catback and the adapter made up for the shorter stock cat. The version 1 cat/test pipe are longer than stock and the version 2 are even longer than that.

 

The extra lenght of pipe is to mate to the stock cat. Our cat back is shorter than factory style exhaust systems. The added piece makes up for that difference if your still using the factory cat. If your custom DP is mated to the stock cat, you will need a test pipe that will fit in the stock cat location. Our test pipe does not fit that.

 

i know but i was going to get it reflanged cause i wanted to rid of that extra piece.

 

That short piece is deleted with our test pipe or high flow cat option.
