The 37r- 708awhp

I was asked by some of you to start up a thread about my car. So here it is.

The mods are as follows:

AMS 2.3 stroker engine
AMS 37r
AMS Race FMIC w/ Tial BOV
AMS Race head
Jun 272 cams
Shep tranny
Drive shaft shop stage V rear and front Axles
AMS 1000hp fuel system (1600cc injectors)
Exedy Tripple carbon clutch
AMS Catback & test pipe
AEM EMS w/ wideband
AMS Carbon Fiber Lip
AMS Intake Manifold
SMC Meth Injection
Buschur throttle body

As it says, the car made 708awhp on just boost (38psi) and C16. On meth it made 575 and on pump it did 467 at only 20psi on 93 (street tune for normal driving lol). The car believe it or not is back at ams to have a little more work done on to it. Feel free to ask questions if u want. I will try and figure out how to load the dyno sheet on here.

Mike

If you don't mind what color is your car. I'm dropping off my car at ams for a tune tonight. I wouldn't mind checking it out. Thanks.

When does the turbo begin to spool up and when do you hit full boost on the street tune?

Wow! What a perfect set-up you went with. I wish I could say that I'm not jealous.

I dont have any pics of it now. But there are pictures of it on a local site, streettuned.org . It was chosen to be ride of the month so there is a gallery of pics there.

The turbo makes boost even at low rpms, so passing ppl is really easy...Its not like u have no boost till it hits, which is at about 4-4200 and redlines at 8500. I used to think wow, what a drag no boost till 4k....but the first time you really give it gas, even on just pump, your like what lag and WHO CARES lol

My friend has an 05 evo like mine and he just made 550whp.....He has done ALOT of luanching on the street and strip. He does not have one drivetrain mod yet. I would reccomend the shep tranny because it makes shifting MUCH easier and faster. Hope this helps.

Those are great numbers. That 37R is an amazing turbo for big power. I'm still addicted to the AMS 35R with the 2.3. I look forward to seeing your dyno chart and your torque curve.
