Good thing i not doing this anytime in the next year...lol i hae a lot of thinking to do

I have an RnR 37r on the stock 2.0l and driving around in city traffic isn't all that bad at all. Lag is definatly over rated, I mean don't get me wrong there is still some lag but it's not as bad as people make it out to be. I get 28psi before 5k rpms. I only ran an 11.8 at the track but thats because i'm still an amateur at the track and I'm not reving the engine high enough (7800 rev limit)

.WIth Curt Brown weight(2900lbs),9.33 and 155MPH,a very rough WHP figure will be 848WHP.
T67 is a great turbo!!

Car ran amazing however, it easily has 156-158 MPH in it very soon.

I would like to know also as my girlfriend has told me she may get me my turbo kit for Christmas!!!
I want 650 plus whp eventually but for now is this kit ok for a stock block until I get a stroker kit?

for 100 buck difference i hope that isnt the reason why u choose it. i hope its cause thats the one u want.

So say 35r vs 37r @ 31 psi on racegas. What would net more power?

We all know that on pump at 23 psi this turbo is going to be the same as the 35r; but i want a shop (hopefully AMS can chime in again) to enlighten us as to if a 37r would show gains over a 35r on race gas at 30 psi on a stock block.
We all know the 37r will show gains over the 35r at 40 psi, but many only plan on running 30 psi on the stock block, so i would like to know if a 37r is worth it; and i think answering this question will nail down a desision for the rest of you as well.
This is why:
- We know this turbo will not show significantly more power than a 35r on pump.
- We know this turbo WILL show significant gains on a built 2.0L and high boost (on race gas).
- We do know this turbo will show gains at 30psi on race gas on the stock block over a 35r, but we do not know how much and if it is enough to make the lag and extra price tag justifiable. (just for testing sake we should assume an 8k redline)
So really there is only 1 question to be answered; which will should put an end to this thread.
Edit: Better question... Would AMS recommend it?

on race gas the 37R should show some significant gains over the 35R at 30 Psi. The problem is that on 30Psi that 37R can toss down as much as 600 plus whp and thats REALLY pushing the stock block.
