Got a couple of questions for the people that are running meth. I got a 2006 evo IX with meth, I just wanted to see if anybody was getting the same results as me. Heres whats happening, ill get on it and take it almost to red line and then shift, and sometimes a big flame will shoot out. Is this normal operation? Do i need to turn it down, any info would help, Thanks.

hi mine was doing the same its to do with when u hit max boost then it drops off the meth peaks higher then ur boost, talk to the guys at jsetr tuning they know everything about it. they sorted my car out yesterday runs amazing

 

Just last night it happened to me, a friend of mine said he saw a huge flame come out from my 3-4 shift.. but I’m not on meth…Yet..

 

Must be the driver.

 

Its ok its not going to hurt your car i dont have meth on my car and i do it all the time when i bring it to 7000rpm of higher and i shift i get a fireball come out the back of my car. Its just unburned fuel or in you case meth and fuel.

 

it will happen if you're running without a cat too
