Congratz to both! Back in the day I bought all my KA-T stuff and talked with Ivan on the phone while figuring out my built KA when he was at SoundPerformance. It's awesome AMS is doing him right, that KA can fly!

Great event. I had an absolute blast. My car ran flawlessly for the entire event. After Saturdays qualifying, I was in first place. Sunday, Danimal finally got to make qualifying a pass after only making his NHRA licensing runs on Sat, but managed to qualify 1st bumping me into 2nd. We were set up on opposite ends of the ladder. Dan's first run was a bye run which advanced him to the semis. I ran against a fully built large turbo WRX running on ethanol and took him down running my best time of the event (10.007 @ 142) and advanced to the semis. Second round put Dan against Yusef in his Evo2. Dan cracked off his best time of the day (9.44) and advanced to the finals. I was pitted against a mostly stock STI and easily advanced to the finals.

Final round was ALL AMS BABY!!!!! Dan and I pulled to the starting line and just after my burn out, it started to rain. They let us go anyway but the rain came in too quick and by third gear I was sideways and had to shut down. This round got called and gave Dan and I a tie for 1st place....

So thats a 1st place finish for me at BOTH BOTI events at rte 66 this year....

Congrats Ivan for a clean sweep at BOTI this season. He did the shop proud. That car has ran without a hitch all year.....and its only going to get faster.
