Does the intake pipe not come with a BOV recirc inlet?

 

Which intake are you referring to? AMS doesn't sell a standard intake that I'm aware of. If you want one for your 50 trim they will fab one up for you with a recirc fitting. I'm having them do the same for me right now.

 

Well, I ordered their 50 trim turbo kit, and my local shop called and said that there wasn't a recirc inlet. He then called AMS, and said that they told him hed just have to modify everything to fit.

 

You can have a recirc fitting welded to the intake pipe they sent you...basically the same thing AMS does. I would've done it but the best welding shop in town here doesn't do so well with aluminum lol

 

Our turbo kits are sold with the assumption that your not running a MAF any more. Unless its requested, the kits come with an intake that does not accept the MAF nor has a recirc fitting.

Who was your sales person and did you talk to them about your plans to run the stock MAF?

 

Well the turbo kit was set up for maf? I talked to eric, and he was very helpful, we just never covered this part. But, I just found out today that it was set up for maf?
