couple quick questions :)

Just picked up the car today with the 50trim and its completely amazing.

Just wondering ive noticed my boost is spiking to 24-25psi and then holding at about 22psi. I was told the car was tuned at 22psi and was just making sure the spikes are normal and nothing to worry about on 93oct.

the carpet cleaners are here now trying to kick me out of the room so I'll do a full review later, but the car is amazing in every aspect. Just wanted to clear up that the spikes are normal.

Thanks in advance guys, the work is amazing and i just want to drive around all day lol.

The spikes are due to the manual boost controller, C. Black says there's nothing to worry about. Glad you're enjoying the car, looking forward to the review!

well do you have a wideband gauge in the car? if the a/f's stay flat that means they tuned for it. But Im sure they tuned it that way because its almost impossible to get rid of a spike.

Hah, I'm in overdrive because the boss (Eric) is at SEMA. Hope he's having a great time he deserves a break from the norm.

Maybe Benjy can treat us to a pic of his black beauty yawning?

Okay after doing some more driving I've noticed that when the boost spikes the car will start to break up a bit it sounds like and pop and the A/Fs will jump around from mid 11s when it starts and they'll hit 12.0 up to about 12.4 I've noticed.

I was thinking since it feels liek its breaking up a bit maybe its the plugs? I've got NGK BRP7ES plugs with 11k miles on them. Should I get a new set or change to a diff plug?

Or does this popping sound like something that's normal and not a problem? The car still feels fast but it will pop and kind of lose a little power it feels like then pull hard again. Sorry if this is confusing lol.

Whats happening is ur having more load on the street then on the dyno. Turn the boost down til u only spike 22, 23 tops. I bet the "pop" goes away. Also I change my BPR73s every 9K or 3rd oil change. Is that over kill? Probably put I never have to worry about them and there cheap being copper cores.

When they say ur tuned to 22 psi the means dont go over that usually. atleast from my standpoint.

We're gonna get the plug thing worked out and then I'm sure it'll pull even harder so I'll wait for a full review, but I can guarantee you it's getting 2 big thumbs up.

Which carwash are you using benjy? Me and my brother's detail shop is going to be opening this month right in St. Charles but until then we are still working out of the garage. You should contact me for your washing and detailing needs, your car would appriciate it .

You should take me for a ride sometime, I really miss the external gate from my civic
