I was thinking since it feels liek its breaking up a bit maybe its the plugs? I've got NGK BRP7ES plugs with 11k miles on them. Should I get a new set or change to a diff plug?

Or does this popping sound like something that's normal and not a problem? The car still feels fast but it will pop and kind of lose a little power it feels like then pull hard again. Sorry if this is confusing lol.
that would be your ignition system, buy the hks dli2 and you will be fine. I had the same problem. Installs in about 5 minutes. And definitely helps out.

We haven't had too much luck with the DLI, we actually stopped selling them. We'll see you a little later today Benjy and get it cleared up. Let me know if you need that new set of plugs.

BenjyJ - glad to hear ya got your setup in!

If ya don't mind, what did you put down at AMS before the 50trim was in? You had all the supporting mods right - not sure if the cams were in then? What made you decide to go with GSC anyways?

50 trim, or something like the 3076/3071 is what I'd be installing to - if the $$ ferry comes to visit me that is... Nice choice! What made you decide on the 50trim as your choice?

315whp/293tq w/GSC 272/272s and bolt ons.

I went with the GSC's because I'd heard great things about them, they put out good numbers on everyone's car, they were cheaper than the HKS's, and they were in stock haha.

I went with the 50trim cuz I didn't want it to be laggy for when I'm on the track and on the stock 2.0 on pump gas a GT35 or something like that would be no fun. I thought about the 3076 but I'd heard great reviews from everyone with the 50trims and so I went with that, and I'm definitely impressed as well.

If the plugs don't fix your issue I would look into some sort of ignition amplifier like the HKS DLI2. I'm running 30psi w/ meth w/ NGK BPR8ES gapped to .27 w/o any breaking up. The 50trim is a great turbo and barely anymore lag over stock. Get a race gas/meth map and you will really love the turbo

haha I know juust having it on the street for 1 night even with the breaking up it's amazing how the lag is practically nonexistent and the power is just amazing.

I'm waiting to go meth or racegas til next season, just gonna have some fun on pump for the last couple weeks of fall.

Yep the plugs was the issue I had some majorly fouled ones from the 3 track days and 11k miles lol. Swapped in a new set and the car runs perfect.

Goin to the strip tomorrow with Boltz I believe so I'm not trying to break it but see what kind of traps she can put out, should be interesting. I'll keep ya posted.

The car is completely amazing!!
