How Much Power Will These Mods Yield?

Here's what will be going on the car within the next month or so..

- AMS 50Trim Kit w/lower ic pipe
- FMIC
- 3" TBE
- 2.5" Upper Ic Pipe w/APS bov
- 255lph fp
- arp headstuds
- cosworth in/ex cams
- valve springs/retainers
- 720cc fuel injectors
- hks evc vi ebc
- hks dli-2

I dont want to do any kind of water/alcohol injection. I plan on running just straight 93oct. all the time, with a custom ecu reflash tune.

I was wondering how much power these mods will yield on an IX MR?

I've read that people who run the AMS 50trim make about 400-415whp on 93 octane only. However, that is also without cams.

Since i'm going to be adding cosworth cams, with valvesprings n retainers to raise the rev limit slightly, I was wondering how much more power do you guys think I will make with my setup?

I'd LOVE to hit 450whp.. However, I'm thinking 435-440 might be a more realistic number..

What do you guys think?

I would think its going to take a fairly agressive tune to achieve 450 awhp (assuming you're using a Dynojet 424x as the measuring equipment) on straight 93 octane.

If I were to take a guess, I would say with everything on the car working perfectly and a good safe flash, you should end up with about 425-430 whp. You never know though, some cars are just stronger than others and you may hit your desired number.

I think 435 is realistic. my buddy has a 50 trim on evo 8 and he is putting down 439 on 93 only

Well not exactly. I havent read up on the cosworth cams too much yet, so i'm not exactly sure how much power they do give..

I said 780's because thats what I noticed a lot of other 50trim owners are using.

Whatever AMS recommends, i'll go with
