AMS Flash Week April 9th - 14th
Sorry if this topic has been beaten to death, but is it true that the AMS flash cannot be detected if I bring my car into the dealership for warranty work? I mean, I'd be sure to flash back to stock if something catastrophic happened, but is there a chance that they can check the ECU easily just to make sure I haven't been messing around with the car if I bring it in for standard work?
Also, let's say I get a custom flash and then want to flash back to stock. How much would that cost? How much to get it flashed again after I've gone back to stock?

i also would like to know if the emission people be able to find out i have a flash? will i erase the flash if i disconnect the battery? i believe it wont but i just wanna make sure... thanks

Emissions would have no way of knowing you had a flash. The dealer can find out but they have to compare the code on your ecu to what it should be. I have never heard of anyone doing that. Flashing it back to stock cant hurt.
If you are flashed by Us we do not charge to flash back to stock.
