I am planning on getting the VSR Intake in June to run on my DD, where I am using the stock ecu. I was just wondering if there are some issues that I would run into if I was using the stock ecu instead of a stand alone. I was looking at the stock manifold and there are 8-10 plugs or cords on the manifold . Thanks for all your input and info .

 

The only thing you would lose is your EGR. That would of course throw a code.

You will not have a problem with the VSR intake for your daily driver. I had the VSR on my stock ECU with a flash and it drove incredible. It produced a ton more power on my car when i had my turbo kit done by AMS.

Do you guys accomodate the stock PCV hose now? I remember I had to ask the shop to add an extra connector for the one I bought last year...
