well i would but i ordered an intake for speed density.
so i can use it on stock MAF.

doesnt matter as i just need to put on a few more mile's on the car then i slap the 35r in with my GSC S2 cams with springs and retainers.

I just hope it not gonna be to laggy.....

LOL...well that would be a subjective opinion. If you live at sealevel then you're looking around 4100 RPM give or take. If you up in the mountains like I am you might hit full spool on a 35 around 4500.

There has to be some other variable we are not seeing. Either you have a small drain, overworking the battery, The terminals are being over torqued, there is pressure on the terminals from the cables....something. We have cars in chicago winters that can keep them more then a year.

Eric i would like to ask a question and if it can be done or if I could purchase one.
I basically have your intake that came with 35r kit.
so it the pipe and the K&N filter, but it is 4 inch ....(ain't gonna fit the stock turbo)

could i use this intake with a reducer to fit the stock turbo, or could i purchase an intake from AMS to fit the stock turbo ?

i want to run the stock turbo for another 2-3000 miles before i install the 35r.
and that way i will be able to use my TIAL wastgate coupled to your UICP and hence use th mini battery

i am ditching the MAF as i have standalone ECU and we will be using MAP!
so i am not really worried about stock airbox

i need to install all my **** man!! it killing me looking at it every night in the garage

thanks

It seems to me that he was referreing to the claim that 2 of them lasted only a year. Otherwise he is saying they last longer.

I keep a battery tendor on mine all year round cause I don't drive it that often. Just make sure it is a tendor for a "gel type" battery, not a regular one. Otherwise, it will expand and eventually blow up.

There is really no point on running that intake pipe on the stock turbo. on the stock ECU it will run horrbly bad. On AEM you will not even notice a difference from your stock piece.

I understand that Eric but.... you not understanding me here.
Once i can put the AMS intake I will run MAP on Autronics stand alone.
then i can put AMS UICP with the Tial DV with my AMS battery.

then when car has more miles on it i slap the 35r.
or do you reckon i should just install the 35r now

See i cant install the battery with airbox and cant install UICP because of airbox.
doesn't make sense to buy another intake when it gonna be on the car for a limited time!

my question is what is diameter of the stock turbo intake, can i just buy a silicon reducer from 4 " to 2.5" so that it can fit the stock turbo.

thanks for your reply !!
much appreciated
