Your well over your break in period.... I really don't see why you shouldn't put it in... What supporting mods are you putting in with the 35r kit?

supporting mods
Autronic Stanalone ECU using MAP
AMS GT35R
AMS mini battery
AMS UICP with TIAL DV
GSC S2 cams
Ferrea Dual valve springs and retainers
Walbro pump
1000 cc Precision injectors
AMS fuel rail

that about it
oh and a cluitch which i still need to purchase, but everything is ready to drop in

all is sitting in my garage

I really enjoy the stock turbo JohnB spools quick and makes good torque
i just sometimes think i have to extreme with a 35r as i am sure it is gonna be laggy should have ather gone with a 3076 like your self.

for now i want to run on stock block but plans are to build a Tomei 2.2 stroker

The 35r will lag for sure... the 3076r is a great turbo but mine is coming out friday for a 2.3l ams stroker and a 35r... You might also want to consider getting a better fuel system like the one AMS offers. Also consider getting the AMS VSR Intake Manifold w/ported tb to open up power up top compared to your stock intake mani.

Also consider building your short block faster then you expect because you should have no problem making the internals out on race gas.

hmmm send me your 30r and i will send you my 35r...heheheheheh

Like i have said before, the stock turbo is a really good, I LOVE IT TO BITS.
i might just slap the 35r in and see how it goes.

regarding the tomei kit, i must first source myself a block first
but 2.2 and 35r will be a good setup i reckon
