Hey Guys I was just on the Corvettefourms and there was a guy that raced his Z06 out there and he had taken a few pictures of some of the cars that where racing at the Shootout and what pops up but the "AMS TIME ATTACK EVO" and the inscription under the picture was " this car is insane fast "

Way to go guys.

I thought you might get a kick out of that.

Yes, congrats and thanks for making time for such a huge effort. BTW, I wish Paulie G. would post up more often.

Here I am! I was going to call you and see if we could run your car in Mod. I sure could have used the extra seat time with all the silly issues we had (anyone have a spare 35r!?!).

Hope all's well,
Paul

Hey Evo guys,

First, I want to say thanks for letting us Suby guys come and play in your historically Evo only event. I will do my best to make sure that Evos are allowed at any/all Suby events in the future if I have any say in it. Having a Tuner Shootout (or any competition) without all brands allowed and represented leaves a lot to be desired. You guys are stand up guys for including us.

Thanks again!

Results update:

As most of you know, a fuel protest was filed against me/HarmanMotive in the modified class. This event had a rule that only unleaded fuel was to be allowed. A fuel sample was taken from my car at tech impound immediately after finishing the race. This sample was sent to SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) for their analysis. Additionaly, my water tank was checked to make sure it had only water injection (no methanol), my tires were checked for legality (they are 245-45-17 NT01's on stock wheels, well under the 275 limit allowed), and my car was weighed (200 lbs over the allowed minimum).

Well the results from the fuel test are back! Aaron Bitterman from SpeedVentures (and person responsible for all tech issues) contacted me in person 4 days ago at 1pm on Friday 9-28-07 and said that the SCCA fuel test came back 100% legal and that the double victories in Street and Mod are now official. It is important that these results be made public ASAP and I hadnt seen any other follow up, so here it is.

Again, I want to say thanks to you guys for including all of us in your event. I also am glad that this issue has been resolved because it is very important to me that races are won on the track and that everyone knows I race 100% legally, as should everyone. I look forward to racing with you all again in the future.

Cheers,

JC Meynet
