Just finished watching Redline TV and there was a nice little peice about AMS's time attack car.

 

Repost. But, yeah, it was funny to see Martin on TV.

Repost? Where is the original one? AMS, Martin, Tuning Tech, Paul, and our cars were all over that segment. Hey Martin, as Borat might say: That television make me feel verynice.

RichK@AMS - can you figure out how to get a good copy of that segment of the show?

 

that issue for the magazine was a couple months ago when i bought it.... and was on tv as well not too long ago before tonight

 

The segment that was on tonight was brand spankin' new. It was the November 6th Evo vs. Sti shootout at Buttonwillow.

 

funny how it was so long ago, but is "new news" lol

Ah, I didn't know AMS made it onto another show. I only saw the one where they placed a close second to the JIC Porsche.

i justed watched tonight and is it me or did they put the ams t1 picture for the losing street class evo? did the t1 even run in this event or was it paul gerrards (sorry if i butchered that) personal car?

 

It was confusing for a couple of reasons. AMS entered my Evo (tuning technologies) in the Street Class and Paul G drove it. I have several AMS parts on my car and also run the Ohlins that Paul helped develop. AMS had TA1 at the track for official practice sessions for another big event the following day. Redline included lots AMS TA1 shots and footage because it simply made for a more interesting and sexy segment for bantering back and forth between Crawford (Sti) and AMS. What I found disappointing was that the Harmon Motive STI, which was on our *** the whole day, hardly got any coverage.

 

thanks for clearing that up.. your car looks pretty sweet. i pretty much have the same setup. ams 2.3, ams gt35r, ams ohlins, etc. my buddy knows those harmon guys and their sti is real nice. plus i saw pictures of their shop which is very nice.
