AMS please change my mind.
AMS please change my mind.
I was looking to have my new build done by you guys....BUT.....I have been reading A LOT of problems with sharkbites car.......granted I know you guys are known from others etc...but he spent a lot of money with you.
so please change my mind to come to you and not buscher ( I hate buscher ) but if he can build me a car, so I dont have problems, I will have to overcome my hatred!
not having injector clips....and siliconing it in doesnt seem very smart. I work hard for my money, I dont need to be going out blowing up a 5k motor for a shop mistake!

Thats what I thought too.... I have never had a issue with AMS. I sent my motor to them for a stroker and cosi head and it came back perfect ready for me to drop it in..... If anything I forgot to send a few parts to them and they took care of me.
Wow.... news to me. So when did you start to hate us?
Last thursday you were just talking to me about picking up our BF272 cams, valve springs & retainers and a tune.

hahahahahhaha. wow. i think both companies make great parts and give great service. ive spoken to jarrod from buschur and eric from ams and i always get great service from them both. plus they push the industry as the 2 major competitors for the et/mph record. glad to have them both and most of the other tuners and shops on evom.
First of all lets not turn this into a vendor war, that is the last thing this site needs.
Steve's car had a couple of issues but most of them had nothing to do with us. We did not silicone in his injector clips. that silicone was residue left over from how the car came to us.
The throttle body shaft seal was leaking but again that was not our doing. that TB was working fine when it left here and it was the same TB the car came to us with.
he has some misc lights in his interior that were not working that could of been from before when his car was at another shop or when it was at the body shop while he was here getting a roof put on it and it repainted.
Steve was having some clutch issues recently with the car due to it having a tilton carbon clutch. That again was a part that worked fine when the car was here and also was not purchased here but rather came in on his car when it was brought to us
I actually talk to Steve very often and he even has my cell phone number. He is very happy with his car now and even talking about us tossing on an HTA37R. The video you are getting most of your information from was full of misleading and incorrect information, hence why it is no longer able to be seen.
We worked with Steve every step of the way to get any bugs his car had worked out. Its a sticky situation but when Steve's car left here it was fine and it wasn't until a few days after he had it some new problems started popping up. As always though we took care of him.
If there is one thing AMS is, its honest and trustworthy. We are human here and we do make mistakes from time to time but we ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS stand behind our services. If there is every a problem with any transaction with us our doors are always open. We consider ourselves the best at what we do not just because of the quality parts and services we offer, but because we stand behind everything we do. Just do a search on here for someone that we didn't take care of if there was ever an issue.
Santiago here made a funny the other day about warranty and I really think it hits home in cases like this. There are so many shops out there that have a "tail light Warranty" meaning as soon as they can't see your tail lights the warranty is up. Its funny at first but there are many shops out there that are like this. We are most certainly NOT one of them. Whether you buy a catback or a full turn key race car someone will always be here to help you out.
Feel free to call in as well if you would like some more reassurance.

evo 8 u - This is a classic example of where it would've been more tactful to call AMS instead of calling them out in public. However since it's already done I will certainly stand behind AMS as a repeat customer and say that they've never given me a reason to think they wouldn't cover thier work well after the customer has left thier shop.
I think you've been misled by whatever you've heard concerning Sharkbite's car.
