*AMS PARTS COMING SOON* EVO X MR/RALLIART Trans cooler kit

We have been hard at work developing a very nice trans cooler for the EVO X MR and Ralliart. Using a very high quality Setrab cooler, High quality Fan and OEM like mounting brackets. We hope to retail this right around $500.00 and this should dramatically help out trans temps on the MR and Ralliart...hopefully making that "slow down" alarm go bye bye lol

Stay tuned! In about 4 weeks we should have all the mounting brackets in stock and be able to retail this guy to the public!!!!

Honestly we are not sure without testing. I will say that we have not yet seen a need for new clutch packs. The cooler is very effective Setrab makes some very high quality stuff. I will keep everyone posted.

That looks great. Good idea to keep that pricey auto shifting trans intact.

Is there any sort of stock trans cooler?

These trans cooler kits should be available in about 4-6 weeks. The reason for the wait is due to us needing to get the supplies ordered up in quantity for the kits so we can meet the demands.

Unfortunately we don't have a trans cooler in the works for the Evo 8/9. It would be pretty intricate since the manual transmission doesn't have an internal pump. An electric pump would have to be added to flow the gear oil from the trans to the cooler and then back to the trans. We have seen a few member here make there own kits and maybe they can chime in and let you guys know how difficult it was and maybe give you a parts list for what you will need to make this happen.

I really doubt that trans temps on IX MR trans are causing most of the failures, especially in higher horsepower drag racing applications.
