Just order one of these with lower intercooler piping last friday, hoping to get it wednsday or thursday. Will post pictures of it on my VIII once installed

I just got mine and I LOVE IT! It's truly a beautiful piece. I would suggest this to anyone.

so since this one is a little smaller does it perfrom worse or make more power then the old one?

The new cast end tank FMIC uses the same core as the older unit. The cast end tanks offer improved flow over the older sheet metal ones and are more efficient as well.

The biggest gain definitely is going to be the efficiency but we saw close to a 5whp gain from the cast end tanks over the sheet metal and tanks. Again the newer cast end tank version uses the same core as the older sheet metal end tank version so the gains between the two will be very minimal.
