Car is broke again

Well after getting the car back 2 weeks ago and less then 500 miles on it from it's return I am now sitting on the side of a country road after goIng on a scenic drive with my wife. Question's how? What the he'll could have possibly went wrong after getting the car back?

edited....until diagnosed.

That sucks man. These cars are no fun when theyre broken down and/or at a shop that isnt making you comfortable. Can you elaborate on what you had done and what keeps going wrong?

So we post this on a public forum 1st instead of notifying the company 1st of the issue. Hmmm...

Stop sticking up for the ones that are doing the sticking.

Its good for him to put this info on here so maybe it will help with keeping these
shops in line since we spend so much of our hard earned money with them.

Nothing better than seeing how it will be handled.

I am sorry to hear your car is down...however

1. You have no idea what is wrong with your car.
2. Without knowing that how can you immedietely blame us for this?

This is not the way to handle this. We have always taken care of you and gone above and beyond. I am honestly shocked to read a post like this with no facts, data or really anything to support that we are the ones at fault.

Please call Andrew on Monday. As with ANY customer. If the problem is sourced to an issue with an AMS part failing inside of its intended or advertised use or a service we performed incorrectly then of course we will take care of it. We don't know anything at this point though...it might not have anything to do with us.

Andrew will be expecting your call on Monday and no matter what we can work with you to get your car back on the road

Eric

Motors blow up. It happens. You can put the best components in a motor and they can still fail. A motor is never bulletproof. As soon as you start modifying from stock, the reliability starts to drop. The further away from stock, the less reliable. This is the nature of this hobby.

While I do sympathize with those that have issues, it is well understood in this hobby that there are never any guarantees.

It is odd when multiple issues happen with one specific customer / car when we have hundreds of other cars with the same sort of mods that have zero issues. Makes you wonder if the car is cursed. LOL...

Hopefully the issue is not major. Whatever it might be, AMS is fully capable of figuring it out and getting it resolved.

In my world I have been done wrong so many times I just really cant deal with it anymore. And as I replied to ERIC'S PM if I am wrong in any fashion I will be more then happy to come and post the result of the outcome.

And just for the record I never said it was AMS's fault.

Keep us all informed on how well they do take care of you, and what they find the issue to be. For a person to spend 25k with them the treatment had better be above and beyond in my opinion as well.

What the he'll could have possibly went wrong after getting the car back? Can I not even drive this car normal on pump gas with out it breaking? I'm kinda jumping the gun in saying this but I'm VERY disapointed in the quality and reliabilty I have recived beings my car has been up to AMS over 3 times since the motor was built from them last November not to mention I have had to pay the towing bill there and back out of my pocket. I would like a phone call ASAP reguarding this matter.. To set up arrangements on it being shipped back up there to get warrenty work done. I really hope we can resolve this in a professional matter as I feel after the last trip when some of my parts where lost and turbo was blown up I was more then understanding on accepting the replacement parts. And yes the the turbo was repaired to new standard.
I feel your pain, i've been in the same situation that you have been in before, where issues keep arising one after the other, that keeping you from enjoying your investment. The feelings of anger, sadness, doubt and who to blame for these issues. could it be bad luck maybe, human error maybe, ams purposely messing up or doing bad work i really doubt it. there are more appropriate manners, to rant and how to deal with things. i know you are angry but posts like this is not one of those manners( ive kinda made the same mistake). Trust me when i say the guys at ams will bend over backwards to help you out as much as possible, and it is for this reason that even after all my mishaps, i still take my car to AMS.
