Brass Monkey Racing World Challenge GT-R team visits AMS!"VIDEO!"

**** EDIT VIDEO ADDED ****

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dJRQsvk05g

As many of you know AMS performance is now on board with the Brass monkey SCCA World Challenge GT Team as a supporting sponsor. Tony Rivera stopped by yesterday for a little AMS work to their two car GT-R team. With a race this weekend at Mosport International raceway in Ontario it was time to make the cars a bit more competitive. To do so we have supplied the two car team with our newest Bolt on turbo's for the GT-R using our new billet compressor wheel.

With the new hardware the Brass Monkey team decided to stop by and have us tune the two cars in house by our very qualified tuner Chris Black. Chris has had a hand in tuning just about every major racing effort that has left the doors of AMS including but not limited to our 2009 Redline Time attack unlimited AWD Champion EVO X and Ryan Gates 2009 modified AWD champion EVO X. At the end of the day we were all VERY happy with the results! These new billet versions really pack a punch over the earlier model

World Challenge GT is a very competitive field and having an edge on the competition is crucial. For this reason we cannot divulge the actual numbers put down on our dyno last night but I assure you they are going into Mosport with two totally different cars

Stay tuned to see how the Tony Rivera, Steve Ott and the rest of the team do throughout the World Challenge series!

Sorry, I cannot do that either. Competitive edges are hard to come by in World Challenge

Stickers will be going on the car before the next event.

I have a question : If I remember correctly AMS is official ecutek dealer, and ecutek have a solution for GTR ECU. But on the GTR you prefer the COBB Accessport, why?

Cobb AP owns Ecutek in every way possible, and as far as I know Ecutek doesn't even list the GTR on their website.

Ecutek was cool... and a good platform, like 3 years ago. Since then Cobb has pushed the envelope further offering more tables and better control over the stock ecu.
