We have been really busy with all of the projects going on here at the shop but we have not forgotten about the drag car. We are putting it back together and are planning on running in some more standing mile events and possibly drag racing as well. Unfortunately it will not be ready in time to run at the DSM/EVO shootout in Ohio in August.

I'm not AMS, but I think they have proven themselves as savvy drag strip runners for years now, and they are enjoying learning about new types of racing. I think they look at standing mile as a place to continue to develop a broader experience base and the car is now setup for doing just that.

Im sure it will be back some day to break some more Drag racing records!! Infact what they learn with Aero work with the sanding mile, might improve their drag racing.

Hopefully they won't forget about the Evo community; as they are now getting heavily involved with the deep pockets of the GTR community, as well as the Porsche community.....

If they have enough customers to be able to step up to Porsche and GTR customers could you blame them for not wanting to work on 7 year old cars that are all hacked up by this point?

I say the sky's the limit, and they seem to be doing it right. The Evo 8-9 product's are still being updated and redesigned 4 years after they were put out of production, that's nice to see.

^Absolutely very true. There are indeed new products being released.....but I was just hoping that doesn't end anytime soon.
