Ive been a loyal AMS customer for quite a while. Bought thousands of dollars of stuff over the years (usual story) .

My brother recently had a birthday and one of my family members bought him a Go-Pro camera. He bought the wrong model and when we tried exchanging it for the HD model (one he wanted originally) AMS said no exchange whatsoever.

I think this is unfair to us. Just because my other family member didn't know he bought the wrong camera, we are now stuck with it? We dont want a refund, just an exchange.

AMS, we like you guys and your products. Come on an make this right for us.

Will they take it back with a restocking fee?

 

I guess they feel like you could be sending them a broken camera. Some places get like that over electronics.

 

I am sorry for the issues however when the person that came in to buy the camera our salesman Ty clearly stated that this was a NON HD camera. He was very adamant that this was not the HD version and they replied to him saying "To me a camera is a camera" Ty even went through the aspect ratio, the pricing etc and they continued to ask for the cheapest / standard model despite Ty explaining the differences and attributes of the HD Camera.

If you would like we can exchange this camera for the HD version and the difference in price but your facts are a bit skewed as the gentleman that bought the camera from us was very clearly informed on the model he was getting and that a better one exists
