wow, thats awesome .... been saving up ..... a few questions..... this is what comes with the kit....

Our Kit Includes:

-SS AMS Tubular Header
-Garrett GT-Series Turbo (GT35R, GT32, or GT30R)
-Tial 38mm Wastegate
-SS Tubular O2 Housing w/ Recirculating wastegate Dump
-SS 3" Downpipe
-SS Braided Oil Feed and Return Lines
-Coolant Feed and Return Lines
-Aluminum Intake Pipe Either 3" or 4" For both MAF and EMS
-Aluminum Lower Intercooler Pipe

..... I was wondering.... if we have an intake already, do we need to junk it? same question with the downpipe, and I bought your AMS lower IC pipe.... plus I may need to buy the tial 38mm wastegate since my stock one may be shot....

is there a way to just package the extra things we need ?

I have the AMS 35R kit... it is well worth the money. My 1/4 times were poor due to my launch control set too low and my clutch pedal was not adjusted correctly resulting in missed shifts. I'm not about excuses, these issues will be fixed and 10's are around the corner.

A GT35R can come configured with different housings. The one we use spools quickly. Then again that term is objective. In 3rd gear the turbo starts coming on boost at a little over 3K and will give full boost (depending on what boost you're running) around 4K on the road. Dan can chime in on the spool characteristics of the turbo.

What's important in the 1/4 is your trap speed. It's the biggest teller of HP. A trap of 126mph is somewhere around 480-500whp!!!!!

it starts to spool up in lower 3k rpm, honestly it's not really laggy, very streetable. I believe I hit 28 lbs in the upper 4K range, but don't qote me on that. I'll have to log a few runs to give an exact number. On a side note, I had an 11.8 sec 121 trap WRX with an FP Green (8cm 50 trim), every time I would shift it would fall out of boost and have to build back up... this is not the case with the Evo GT35R kit, every gear I shift to, the boost response is very quick. The minimal extra lag is worth the extra hp in my opinion.

well that run was really bad, bogged launch, 2nd gear I had some grind... 1/8th mile trap speed was at 92 mph and picked up 34 mph in the back end to hit 126 in the 1/4. I don't believe Al has even gained that much in the back end of the track, and I'm still running the stock intake manifold! I'll be going back to the track this weekend to get some better time slips.
