Manual, I know that you have feelings, and I do not want to turn this thread into another battle ground like the others. I know that a lot of things have been said, even George and I got into it. But this is a new chapter in the story. George and I talked about this. He wants to help, and he has a lot of ideas. Sometimes it takes time to make things perfect, but when they finally get that way, it is worth it. George really wants to help, and make things right. The fact that he wants to do it with everyone is a sign that he wants to show the ATL Evo comunity that he can fix your car. He said he will not charge anything, give him a try. Plus, it will be a good chance to cook some food and talk cars.
Give him another chance.
Hi Mike, I appreciate your efforts to make things better. I know that this thing has really hurt relations between people who really all want to be friends and get along. Too bad this crap got pushed into the level to where I was attacked and blamed for things that are not my responsability. I don't want any of you guys to feel uncomfortable with George or myself on account of this mess. Please feel free to continue your friendship an association with George (and with me if you like ). This should not be the cause to take sides.

Anyway, I don't want to start up anything, but since too this has gone public I think I should explain my position:
Boost Solutions (George) has had 4 or 5 separate opportunities to take care of this car (and many, many more during the weeks he had my car)
The last time that I agreed to give George a chance to help make the car right, it degenerated into a finger pointing and blame assigning mess.

I don't think it's fair or useful for George to use these forums for posturing and grandstanding. I got blindsided by these threads already. When I was expecting help I got instead a huge quasi-technical post with tons of pictures and words pointing to me as the cause of the problems with my car.

It's easy now to get in here and post all this seemingly generous offers and stuff and to appear magnanimous and fair by offering the same thing that was offered at least 4 times before but never delivered. You know what they say: "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me". I've already been fooled 5 times. I don't want to take yet another chance.

I can say however that there will be no 3 ring circus with my car in the main stage. Even if I were interested in giving George another shot at my car (yeah, that's what's really like, another shot, I certainly would not want a huge spectacle to be made out of it.

Another thing is, if I don't have confidence in George to take care of my car without me being there, what difference would it make for me or anybody else to be there? Why make such a huge public thing out of this? Oh yeah, I don't have time to stand there for hours and hours watching someone mess with my car. Actually, I've already done that with George at least 4 times before. Every single time I was told the car was ready, I ended up waiting for hours as George messed with his laptop hooked to my car and even had to wait as last minute mechanical adjustments were made.

No, I'm not going to go through any more of these experiences. I cannot take it money wise, time wise and emotionally. The major damage that the car has suffered will be repaired at another place by another technician. If George is really interested in making things right, he should contact me privately via email or snail mail and we can discuss how he'll recompense me for the damages. No hard feelings

Manuel

Well, in this case, have the technician that will look at the car, give us a call, if he has any questions. Also, I would recommend taking the MDP plug completely out, and soldering the MAP plug instead. Also, same for the 2 wires on the IAT ( blue/red stripe and the black wire next to it). These are some tips.

The reason for going rich and being off: have the technician look at the air temp correction table. It is under Fuel/Advanced Fuel/Fuel Trims/Air Temp correction table/Graph. The hot weather makes the car run richer. Like I said have the technician call me on that one. I will be glad to email him the values, or how to determine them. The change in the weather would mess things up.

Are you going to the track on the 19th? I can show you how to change the values... I am just trying to help even after all that happened...

George
