Hi ATL guys,
I thought it is time to post a little bit more facts about our shop. What is hurting our online LOCAL image is the fact that almost none of our happy customers post their great experiences with us. Most of them just drive the cars, they are too busy for this internet fight.
Why am I posting again? Because Boost Solutions is here to help you guys ( including Manuel). Yes, I am offering our EXPERTISE free of charge to Manuel. Now, if some of you still continues to attack us, I will not respond. Tell me why i would be at fault for offering our help? We have done it before, we will do it now. Like Ryan, Mike, Mark, etc said, we have helped all of you guys.
Now, lets go over some facts :
- Boost Solutions is the largest Evo shop in GA ( if not the only one)
- Boost Solutions has created the MOST MODIFIED Evo8 in the US. Nobody else has ventured what we have done.
- Boost Solutions is one oif the best AEM EMS tuners on the east coast. We have tuned many AEM EMS systems on Evos, several Eclipses, many Supras. Also, we have extensive experience with the Autronic systems ( especially with the NON-PLUG-AND-PLAY SM2 computer). Many S-AFCs, HKS AFRs, and Greddy e-manage systems were tuned by us, and all of the cars are running great and making A LOT OF power. One of the Supras that we tuned, was competing at the Texas Speedway in Houston at the TX2004 National Supra Event, and was one of the first running cars there ( roadcourse).
- We do a LOT OF COMPLETE TUNING, not only fine tuning a piggyback computer to the factory ECU. That is a lot harder and time consuming.
- we work constantly with high horsepower Toyota Supras, Nissan 300ZX, Nissan 350z, Mitsubishi EVos and Eclipses.
- our knowledge is highly appreciated in the 300zx, Supra, and EVo communities.
We have had phone calls from Norris Design, and several other tuning shops in Europe. We are working closely with a shop in Japan as well.
- we are one of teh biggest internet sellers of EVo parts.
- we have been rebuilding engines for a long time. Many fully built 300zxs have been done at our shop. We are also one of the US shops that ventured in putting a stroker kit on the Evo.
- we have been building custom fuel sytems for all these cars as well. And we are talking about complete fuel system solutions, not Walbro pumps and direct replacemnent injectors.
- we are starting to offer rollcages in several weeks as well, we have added a full manufacturing section to our shop , for manifolds, custom exhausts, rollcages, etc.
- We are one the companies that has offered non-turbo to twinturbo swaps for the longest on the 300zx market. We still do alot of them, along with the SR20 swaps.
- We are building several Evos with HKS 3240 turbos, and one with a HKS T04Z turbo. A friend of mine emailed me that their HKS t04Z car in FULL STREET trim ran 10 sec flat. That is kinda fast IMO.
- one of our goals is, from now on, every car that comes in here to leave with a dyno chart!!!
Now, more on the silverevo8 car!!!
- looks like the car actually did REALLY well up to 5400rpms. That is why I asked for the overlays, and they show it. The topend for some reason is really rich. I will not go into details again, I will do just one thing. Offer my help again to get the AFRs where they are supposed to be. Some people will not like that, but the car has the greatest potential of all dynocharts that I saw. Even some of our "enemies" agreeed that the car will kick a** after we check why is it running that airfule on the topend.
So, my final words are: Manuel, let us know what we can do for you. Our goal is to get the car running nicely, and to make the power up to your expectation. I will say it online like i told you on teh phone: I will spend a whole day, locked doors, disconnected phones, JUST on your car for free. You can bring Ryan MCD or Mike Raza, or the best would be MYEVOVIII!!! Hey, lets not leave off Toddevo8! I will pay for the barbecue!!! They will be the witnesses! Ryan, feel free to bring a camera if you see something dancing on the floor, I am sure you would love to post it

George glad to here things will be getting back to normal. I hope we can all come to the next meet at the Car show and all at Commerece on the 19th. I will be great for all of us to hang out again like before this whole thing started.

well to everyone else, let me be the first on this post i guess to tell you my experience with Boost Solutions, I fried my stock Clutch at the track a few months back, and i was devistated since the evo is my daily driver i spoke to george, and he immidietly attended to my needs and explained to me the difference between the clutches that are available, and prices, and i decided to go with the cusco twin plate clutch, if i'm not mistaken, it arrived at the shop in a day or so, and he stayed extra late to install it so i can have it for work
i mean he still gave me that "You want an AEM with that" line but it's all cool

There is enough doubt already in the minds of some people who will believe that I'm tampering with your work and sabotaging my own car for some weird reason. I don't want to have to defend myself anymore. I'll cut my losses and try some other options and chalk it up to "experience". I think I've had enough.

I 2nd that. Also James with the blue evo has a KICK *** clutch in his car, he said it's a exedy but it's like 2800, he said it's carbon carbon or something, have you heard of this? We went out last night and I drive the car and with that clutch even I can launch a evo lol.

This problem is mostly a huge misunderstanding + lack of communication. It's a problem that can be solve. I hope both you (manuel) and George (Boost Solution) can solved the problem. I loved to see things work out.

Manual, I know that you have feelings, and I do not want to turn this thread into another battle ground like the others. I know that a lot of things have been said, even George and I got into it. But this is a new chapter in the story. George and I talked about this. He wants to help, and he has a lot of ideas. Sometimes it takes time to make things perfect, but when they finally get that way, it is worth it. George really wants to help, and make things right. The fact that he wants to do it with everyone is a sign that he wants to show the ATL Evo comunity that he can fix your car. He said he will not charge anything, give him a try. Plus, it will be a good chance to cook some food and talk cars.
Give him another chance.

Read the post where I said George ALWAYS want's to help but in this case I don't think he really know's how to resolve this problem. I am not putting him down even *I* have problems and have to call others sometime with computer and I have been doing it for over 10 years. That's just part of it, now if he wants to get a AEM expert and fly him and and have him work on Manual's car that maybe the way to go so they both can learn but at this point after having the car for months I do not think he can resolve the problem. Thing about it this way, if you go somewhere to eat and it's bad the past 7 times, even if it's free would you go there again?

my point was: everybody knows that the car has potential, I am sure even you have seen how his car goes until 5400rpms. Everybody knows that it is going rich after that.
We know why it is rich, and we KNOW how to fix it. I just offered our help...
Also, I know Manuel has some feelings, that is why offered all of you guys to be here and watch
