Hi everyone, I have a RRM CAI on my ralliart and since winter is coming almost everyone's telling me to switch back to my car's original air filter system.... but I had the luck of dropping the big black "box" which contains the air filter on the ground and the back of it broke and is unusable!

does anyone here happen to have that piece of hardware lying in their garage and would be kind enough to sell it to me? I'm afraid of how much it would cost me directly from the dealership..I'll call though.

Just thought I'd try it on here first!

 

You might want to check a junk yard...

 

you dont have to switch, just take the down pipe off and put the filter at the end of the top pipe. then you will have a sri and you will be fine.

Okay so cut your pipe and put a joint in it or buy a SRI for like $35.00 it will problaby be cheaper then buying the stock system.

hahaha duct tape won't cut it unfortunately...its broken in a few pieces....

navysevo's friend is asking too much... I could get the part I need from the dealer for about the same price with the USD-CDN convertion + shipping costs.

I guess I'll just keep it on for the winter!

 

Just do what danno said.. cut the pipe ... go buy one of the vibrant rubber thingies... like $20 at an performance shop.. and voila done...

Or sell you RRM CAI and buy the Injen.. which can be used as and SRI or CAI.
