Canadian Tire Shoppers

I was at Canadian Tire the other day getting spark plugs for my car. I noticed that they had the wrong part number down in their book.

Be carefull of this. Make sure you go by the numbers in your service manual and not in CTC's book.

Well... does it really make a difference? I always thought... As long as the thread is the same, and as long as you gap it properly you're good to go. Have I been wrong the whole time?

If the length is different then you can take off the top of a cylinder with the spark plug. There are also other differances.

For Champion CTC lists Part # KC12YC4 this is the wrong part. The correct number is KC10YC4

also

They do not list Denso or NGK plugs although they carry them.

They do list the Bosh Platnum's (both ones) but they arnt very good plugs for the lancer.
