i think letting in the old lancers is a must....i drive an 05 Ralliart. plannin on getting the 09 but since its not out yet i cant. that means i cant join the club?

Hi new lancer owner here in T.O. , maybe I can attend these meet one day.

 

Although the Car club constitution isnt drawn up yet. I think its safe to say that the club will be much better off if it has an inclusive stance on membership regardless of year / generation / or Lancer Variant. Lancer, EVO, RalliArt or any other bright idea Mitsubishi comes up with next year, membership will welcome all. Mind you, alot of the promotions or deals or mitsu backed events may be more inline with the current generation Lancers and EVO X, but if something can be worked out for older cars, every effort will be made.

As soon as we start handing out commissions and get a Officer of Promotions, then he or she will be the one attempting to work out on going promotions. In the mean time, as a small car club, I am attempting to sit down with Mitsu HQ to get a few deals worked out. So bare with me. As things go along, we will attempt to set up a more democratic system so members can voice ideas. In the mean time, things may seem a little grass roots. But this is a good thing, it will allow us to get to know each other and see the talents we have out there.

I will also be flying out in a month or two to Vancouver to assist in the setting up of a Vancouver / Canada West Lancer Car Club, it will be a different car club , but related none the less in our common ideals, which is bringing Lancer owners together
