MCCC is another club, this forum is mainly based on the TLC (Toronto Lancer Club).

Browse around, you'll understand

To become an official member of the club you need to drive on 2008+ model, as far as the meets anyone is welcome. Rontam90 is comming down with his RSX, and we have a few other guys who come out with there older model lancers. MCCC caters to all year/model lancers, we are affiliated with them but we are not the same car club.

we welcome new bodies to come out to the meets. Membership structure will be voted on in a serious way buy summer time. I have a way to focus on the new lancers and still welcome in old lancers too. One thing about mitsubishi owners that i have met here in canada is. Once they buy mitsubishi they stick with it for their next car. even during the bad times.

So even if you have another car, or no car, or plan on buying a lancer car, its good to see people come out If I get my way, I will try to have doors open with mitsubishi to allow that process to be easier. But we will have to see.

i know i have voiced it before but i think the TLC should be open to all lancers, i know me personally i have tried to find a toronto based club that is strictly for lancer but with no such luck. i know the MCCC caters to all lancer but they also cater to all mitsu cars not really what i am looking for.

and i know the newer lancers and their owners point out it is a completely different car, but you can always set it up like they have set it up here at evolutionm with the lancer tech talk separate from each other. i think it would work and probably encourage more lancer owners to come out and meet people that have the same thing in common...their car

just my 2 cents

maybe have the Toronto Lancer Club with 2 subgroups? like one 08+ and one previous gens but have them both under the TLC

just a suggestion

i think it could work...there could be your general forum with off-topic chats, for sale section etc. and then you just little sub sections with tech talks for the 08+ and the 02-07

and yeah there may only be a couple people on here with the older gen that post but because this is such a huge forum and there are people from all over the place and new topics being posted all the time, there are probably some people that choose not to post...i very rarely came on this forum until the canada section started to get more activity... now i usually am on checking whats going on everyday

thanks

thanks guys, for the info on both clubs. i have seen a couple of lancers here in windsor where i'm at, and wish that there was a few more from here and surrounding areas to drive up to T.O. for the meet on the 25. If anyone wants to meet some where to make the drive let me know...
