GTA Lancer Meet
Ya I was just wondering if EVERYONE in the GTA with a Lancer wanted to meet up Saturday, August 30th around 8 or 9pm some where in Sauga and chill and talk for a while, and maybe go for a boot somewhere.
I dunno bout the rest of you, but I start school in London soon, which means no more summer job, which means no more disposable income, which means no more insurance for lancer ($400/month...thanks to my 2 yr old accident in the Z24).
Ya so I gotta go back to law school in London, and I'll be coming back every weekend, but unfortunately I can't afford to keep both cars on the road year round, and the Lancer is pretty much a April-September car. So ya it's getting put up on blocks until jan/feb when I'll hopefully get the engine I'm looking into from RPW....then it'll head to the shop for the rest of the winter for the swap.
My point is, my Lancer is going to disappear for about 7 months, undergo a make-over and come back more powerful, so the end of august is the last time I can attend a meet with my Lancer until the end of April 2004. Sorry I'd love to keep it out but unfortunately I have a choice between an engine swap and keeping the lancer out for 3 more months and spending another $2k in mods. So I gotta spend the money on the engine and put her to sleep while I go to school.
So if they're are any takers for a meet.....post here.
p.s. I'll attend other Lancer meets from now til April, I just won't have the Lancer with me.....but you're all welcome to come visit in Jan/Feb @ Absolute Motorsports in Brampton where the swap is going to be done.

i'm down for the meet man. then again i'm always at the meets!! just have to see how the schedule is cuz i might be at the cottage that weekend since i start back on sept 2nd. 
krispy kreme was fine, but the rent-a-cop security tried to kick us out. mu buddy told me that if we went in and bought something then he can't say **** since we are now customers and not loiterers
