Hi guys/girls. I'm looking to finally get HID's for my car. Dunno where to start. Anyone have any recommendations as to where to purchase and have installed?

although I dont have any leads myself since I perfer to run on Nokya halogen bulbs, talk to one of the car meet guys that have them and I am sure they will point you in the right direction. Its good since you can compare the different brands at the same time and see which one appeals to you. Because to be honest with you, advertising can be miss leading, one thing says 6000k another says 6000k the color looks completely different. sigh...

When's the next meet? I only went to the Fairview meet a few months back when I first got my car. I know I just missed another meet at Fairview a few days ago (dammit!)

I would like to get a pair of HIDs for the 2002-2003 Lancer... I also went to the meet back during the Winter @ Fairview.

Can someone point me to the right direction for a pair of 9007 HIDs?

next meet is a west side meet, I am going to allow a vote, but I will not be there, or not for long, myself and a few TOLancer members are going to leaving to go to the photoshoot shoot in Kitchener. Everyone is invited to go to the lounge and meet MaiLynn. But for those who are not interested in going to Kitchener, the regular meet will be still going on.

I will set it up as a vote so people can choose which location they would like to meet at look for it tonight

Thanks. But there's a little more to it than just a name of a company. What are you recommending them based on? Do they have good prices including installation?

 

i had 6500k on my lancer before, was very bright but had a blue'ish hue. definitely looks aftermarket. if you want a more OEM 'white' color, go with 4500k from xenon depot. get it done at Speedstar in markham. cost about 350 with installation, with 1 year warranty.
